Who here plays Go? I recently started playing, and it seems like fun. Any tipps on literature?

Why? The book recommended by >>6 is probably the best place to begin.
Once you've gotten some grasp of the rules, start playing.
The KGS Go Server used to be a great place to find other novice and intermediate people eager to play. Haven't stopped by in years, though.
Heard good things about Pandanet IGS, too, and heard that the level of play is much higher there.

I think the topic is interesting, and hoped that someone might respond if they saw the thread on the frontage.
I've played Go, but the crowd was a bunch of nasty mean nerds, at least the more serious players. Loads of fun, and elegant.
